2. Who Uses Our Platform

Career Fast Pass is designed for high school students, recent graduates, and entry-level job seekers. We take the privacy of young users seriously. If you are under the age of 13, please do not use this platform without a parent or guardian's consent. If you are between 13 and 18, we encourage you to review this policy with a parent or guardian.

3. Information We Collect

When you create an account and use Career Fast Pass, we collect the following information:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and a hashed (encrypted) password
• Career profile information: Job target, skills, work experience, education, and other details you provide in the career kit form
• Generated content: Your resume, cover letter, career roadmap, interview sessions, and other AI-generated materials
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the platform
• Suggestions: Any feedback or feature requests you voluntarily submit

We do not collect payment information. Career Fast Pass is currently free to use.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely to:

• Generate your personalized career kit, resume, cover letter, and roadmap
• Save your materials so you can access them from your dashboard
• Power the career roadmap, interview simulator, and other platform features
• Allow your school counselor to view your progress (only if you registered through a school portal)
• Send your career kit to your email address when you request it
• Improve the platform based on how it is used

5. AI Processing

Career Fast Pass uses AI technology to generate your career materials. When you generate a kit, relevant portions of your profile information are sent to an AI content generation API to produce your resume, cover letter, and other content. This processing is governed by our AI provider's Privacy Policy.

We do not use your personal data to train AI models.

6. School Portal & Counselor Access

If you registered through a school's Career Fast Pass portal:

• Your school counselor can view your generated kits, career roadmap, resume scores, and interview sessions
• Your counselor may add private notes to your profile to help guide you
• Your counselor cannot edit your account, change your password, or see your password
• Only counselors at your specific school can see your data — other schools cannot access it
• Student data is scoped strictly to the school you registered with

7. Data Storage & Security

• Your data is stored in a secure database hosted on Render.com
• Passwords are never stored in plain text — they are encrypted using industry-standard hashing
• All data is transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted connections)
• We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information from unauthorized access

No system is 100% secure. While we take your privacy seriously, we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account and career materials for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data and generated content within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent at any time by discontinuing use of the platform

10. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Career Fast Pass is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

If your school has deployed Career Fast Pass and students under 13 may use it, please contact us so we can work with your institution to ensure appropriate consent and data handling procedures are in place.

11. Third-Party Services

Career Fast Pass uses the following third-party services:

• AI Content Generation API — generates your career materials (Privacy Policy)
• Render.com — Platform hosting (Privacy Policy)

We do not use advertising networks, tracking pixels, or sell data to any third parties.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Career Fast Pass after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
