Privacy Policy

📋 This Privacy Policy explains how Career Fast Pass collects, uses, and protects your information. Please read it carefully. If you have questions, contact us at support@careerfastpass.com.

1. Who We Are

Career Fast Pass ("we," "our," or "us") is an AI-powered career development platform designed to help students and entry-level job seekers build professional career materials. Our platform is operated by Career Fast Pass, located in Maryville, Tennessee.

You can contact us at: support@careerfastpass.com

2. Who Uses Our Platform

Career Fast Pass is designed for high school students, recent graduates, and entry-level job seekers. We take the privacy of young users seriously.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and we ask you to confirm that when you register. If you are between 13 and 18, we encourage you to read this policy with a parent or guardian before you sign up.

Sometimes the person filling in the career kit form is not the person the kit is for — a parent, a school counselor, a caseworker or a friend helping someone get started. The form asks who is filling it in, so the kit can be written in the right voice. Either way, the answers describe the person the kit is for, and they are treated as that person's information.

🔒 We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.

3. Information We Collect

You can build a career kit without creating an account, so what we collect — and, more to the point, what we keep — depends on whether you are signed in.

If you are not signed in: your answers are sent to our AI provider to build your kit, and the finished kit is sent back to your browser. We do not write your answers or your kit to our database, and there is no account for them to belong to. That is true of every answer, including the optional ones about age range, disability, accommodations and the practical help you could use. Those questions are shown to everyone, signed in or not, because the guidance they unlock — work-permit rules for a 15-year-old, accommodations worth requesting — belongs in the kit you are generating now, not in one you would only get by registering. Signed out, those answers build your kit and are then gone. Once you leave the page we no longer have them, so download or email yourself anything you want to keep before you close the tab.

If you have an account: we save your answers and your finished materials to your account so you can return to them, edit them, and download them later. In that case we hold the following:

The optional questions can only ever add to what you get — a scholarship you qualify for, an accommodation worth asking for, a program built for people in your situation, a step that routes around a barrier instead of stopping at it. Your age, your disability, your accommodations and the support you said you could use are never allowed to narrow, shorten, filter or downgrade the careers, jobs or advice we show you. Tell us you need a seated role and you get the same ambitious plan with the steps re-routed, not a smaller one. None of these answers is ever shared with schools, employers, or advertisers, and none of it is sold. They are sent to the AI provider that writes your kit; section 12 lists every outside service we use and exactly what each one receives.

You can change or clear any of those answers at any time from the Edit answers page on a saved kit, and deleting your account deletes them along with everything else.

Career Fast Pass offers a free tier as well as paid subscription plans (Starter, Plus, and Pro). You can use the free tier without providing any payment information.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely to:

Your portfolio page is switched off when your account is created. If you turn it on from your dashboard, anyone with the link can see your name, the job you are aiming for, your summary, and your next steps. It does not show your email address, your phone number, your city, your school, or any of your optional answers. You can switch it back off at any time.

5. AI Processing

Career Fast Pass uses AI technology to generate your career materials. When you generate a kit, relevant portions of your profile information are sent to an AI content generation API to produce your resume, cover letter, and other content. This processing is governed by our AI provider's Privacy Policy.

We do not use your personal data to train AI models.

6. Salary & Career Data

To show real wage figures for careers, Career Fast Pass retrieves salary and job-outlook data from O*NET Web Services, operated by the U.S. Department of Labor. When we look up wage data, we send only a job title or occupation keyword — never your personal information — to that service. This application incorporates information from O*NET Web Services by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (USDOL/ETA). O*NET® is a trademark of USDOL/ETA.

7. School Portal & Counselor Access

If you registered through a school's Career Fast Pass portal:

8. Data Storage & Security

No system is 100% secure. While we take your privacy seriously, we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

9. Data Retention

We retain your account and career materials for as long as your account is active.

When you delete your account from your Account page, your generated content — résumés, cover letters, interview practice sessions, career roadmaps, saved job applications and any review you submitted — is deleted immediately and permanently. This cannot be undone, so download anything you want to keep before you delete.

We keep a minimal, anonymized account record after deletion (no name, no email, no password) so that payment and refund history required for tax and accounting purposes stays intact. That record cannot be logged into and is not used to contact you.

Payment records are also held by our payment processor, Stripe, under their own retention schedule — see section 12, Third-Party Services.

Product-analytics events and error reports (also section 12) sit with those services under their own retention schedules rather than inside your account record, so deleting your account does not automatically erase them. Email us if you want those removed as well and we will put in the request.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@careerfastpass.com.

11. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Career Fast Pass is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

If your school has deployed Career Fast Pass and students under 13 may use it, please contact us so we can work with your institution to ensure appropriate consent and data handling procedures are in place.

12. Third-Party Services

Career Fast Pass uses the following third-party services. Each one receives only what it needs to do its job, none of them receive your password, and none of them are advertising networks:

We do not use advertising networks, tracking pixels, or sell data to any third parties.

13. Cookies & Browser Storage

Career Fast Pass keeps a small amount of information in your own browser. All of it is there either to make the site work or to remember a preference you set. None of it is used for advertising, and none of it follows you to other websites.

Local storage and session storage live in your browser on your own device, and their contents are not sent to us. You can clear all of it at any time in your browser settings; doing so will sign you out and reset those preferences.

The outside services listed in section 12 may set cookies of their own when you use the features that rely on them. We do not set advertising cookies and we do not use tracking pixels.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Career Fast Pass after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
